Barnkids Holiday Club 2023
In 2023 we will run the club for 2 weeks during the summer holiday, this year this will be W/C 7th August and 14th August 2023. We operate for Children in Reception, Y1 and Y2 only and due to the limited number of spaces avaiable we will give priority to children who have siblings at Barnkids, or have been former barnkids Children. Attendance can be booked in 1 week blocks for £310 per week per child. All activities and 2 hot meals per day are included in the price.
Magical Forest Experiences
Barnkids Summer Club is based entirely outdoors whether this is in our forest school area, outbuildings and barns or adjoining fields for sports activities.
We will be offering a variety of activities each day, that are based around learning forest school skills and sports. At the end of the week with us we hope that the children will have learnt new skills, created special memories with new friends and most importantly had lots of fun!
A Typical Day in the Woods...
Upon arrival the children will be greeted by their summer club staff in one of our outbuildings at the nursery. This will be the summer club base, where they will leave their belongings for the day and return back after tea for you to pick them up. All children will be offered drinks, snacks, lunch and tea whilst with us which is all included in our fee's.
The children will spend mornings in the forest school taking part in activities such as bug hunts, bushcraft, den building and using small tools. They will eat their meals in the woods too! The afternoon will then lead onto some sports activities each day in the fields with our sports qualified holiday club staff. The children will also get the opportunity to take part in arts and craft in the afternoons should they wish.

- Waterproof Clothing for Wet Weather
Please note - If the weather is extreme we will return to the nursery site and will be based in an outdoor barn. Your child may wish to change into cooler clothes or warmer in these scenarios. Please check the weather daily and ensure you child is adequately dressed for their day ahead.
